this was built with a $5 japanese lantern and the internal organs of a “Frosty The Snowman” – light up lawn ornament.

for a while now, i’ve been making sculptures with “broken” LED circuits…
It started out with sculptures that would plug into my mixer and the leds would flash to the beat…

being that i like my light at home a little more ambient i’ve completed a new lamp with the LEDs from a glade plug-in and
a hard drive rack from an old PC. Another lamp i made recently uses a programmed string of LED circuit boards from a “Frosty The Snowman” lawn ornament and one of those spherical, Asian, paper lanterns… I’ll post later this week!
