It's truly strange that Phong was one of your first
reference points and mentors, as he was one of mine as well,
though I had found him through the internet a few years ago,
before the time that I had modified your sampler to react
to light intensity. Phong's site was listed on another artist's site whose name I don't remember as clearly, due to it's less understandable
generic character. Phong had chosen a relevant and unique
word as an identity, inoffensive at first glance, and
intellectually stimulating, And so I remembered it.
Flashkit.com also provided a wealth of tutorials and
names of developers whom I had personally vowed to never
forget nor deprive of due credit, as my principle has always
been to give credit where credit is due, and never steal
ideas. Material is meaningless, essentially, it doesn't matter what happens to an object that was derived from an idea, but to steal an idea, to me,
would be the ultimate "sell out". And as they say, Integrity
is what you do when no one is watching.
