So, i’m tweeting out front, drinking a beer, enjoying the Labor Day Weekend, when i see a trending topic on twitter saying: “#wordpressusersshould” or “#wordpressusers” or some craziness like that. Clicking on the trending topic i learned of an imminent threat to my site involving a password reset or something…. After confirming with the wordpress blog, I upgraded to v2.8.4. Looking back, i wonder if this was a controlled social experiment by word press to take advantage of swarm mentality and intertweet communication… either or, this was one case of mass hysteria working on me.
